Onward Travel is very happy to debut The Christmas Market Tour for the holiday season in 2025!
Our co-founder, Kat, lived in Prague for four years and if you’ve ever met her you’ve likely heard her talk incessantly about her love for the Czech Republic. She is very excited for this chance to bring a group of Onward Travelers to many of her favorite places in magical Prague and beyond. We’re visiting in the first week of December when all of the Christmas Markets (and there are many of them) are in full swing. From a few quaint market stalls to gigantic trees and a million twinkling lights, an immersion in Central European holiday cheers is a full experience unto itself and we can’t wait to share it together!
The first half of the week sees our group based in Prague, the Czech capital and heart of the Bohemia region, and then we will set out on a journey. First we’ll spend a night in Brno, the second largest city in the country and seat of the Moravia region. Brno was named the “European Capital of Christmas” in 2024 and you’ll see why. Each December Kat lived in Prague she and her husband took a trip to Brno to enjoy its Christmas Markets. Our last stop is Vienna, with its iconic holiday lights and elegant festive atmosphere. We’ll be there for St. Nicholas Day so we can keep an eye out for extra festivities. The mulled wine, gingerbread and holiday cheer awaits… we hope you’ll join us!
